Concerning the incidents of the new Coronavirus, we understand that people are feeling anxious.

There have been reports that the government has started preparing for an emergency declaration centered on the Tokyo metropolitan area.

As a result, it has been decided that Knock Knock Preschool will close from April 7 to April 30.

In addition to this circumstantial change, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare’s “Request for Opening Daycare Centers” has been overturned, and it is expected that the policy to counter infectious diseases will be further strengthened by not leaving home.

Please forgive me for making such a decision one day before welcoming the start of the new year.

Because of this urgent decision, parents may not be able to find caretakers for their children. If that is the case, we will correspond by opening the preschool for two days on April 7 (Tuesday) and 8 (Wednesday).

If you wish to join, we would be happy if you could apply today (April 6) by 4pm.

In addition, we plan to allocate childcare fees for April in May.

The next opening day is scheduled for May 7 (Thu), the end of the May holidays.

We will be monitoring the situation and will notify you again if a change occurs.

The Knock Knock English conversation school program will be announced separately.

I hope that the threat of this infectious virus will be resolved as soon as possible so that the children can return to an environment where laughter resounds as before.

Of course, we send our heartfelt thoughts and prayers for the health and safety of the children and their parents.

この度は新型コロナウイルスの件で、不安な気持ちを抱えている方も多いと思います。

政府が首都圏を中心とした緊急事態宣言の準備に入ったとの報道がありました。

これを受け、英会話 スクール Knock Knock English では4月7日より4月30日まで休講させていただくことを決定いたしました。

オンラインによるレッスン継続も考えましたが、希望者が少なかったため苦渋の選択となりました。

新年度の開始日を迎える前日に、このような決定をすることをお許し下さい。

尚、4月分の授業料等に関しては、5月分に充当させていただく予定です。もしくは通常の夏休み期間中に、小学校の授業が行われる際には、それに合わせてKnock Knock English の授業を振り返ることも検討いたします。

次回の開校日に関しましては、5月の連休明けの5月7日（木）を予定しておりますが、今後の状況を注視しつつ変更が発生する場合は再度お知らせいたします。

一刻も早く感染症の脅威が解消し、以前のように子供の笑い声が響く環境に戻ることを願うばかりです。

お子様はもちろん保護者の皆様の健康を心よりお祈り申し上げます。

これを受け、Knock Knock Preschool では4月7日より4月30日まで休園させていただくことを決定させていただきます。

今回の事態の変化に伴い、これまでの厚生労働省からの「保育所への開所のお願い」が一転し、外出しないことで感染症対策をする方針がより一層強化されると見られます。

新年度の開始日を迎える前日に、このような決定をすることをお許し下さい。

今回の急な決定のためにお子様の預かり先が見つからない保護者の方もいるかもしれません。その際は4月7日（火）、8日（水）の2日間は園でお預かりできるよう対応させていただきます。

ご希望の方は本日（4月６日）午後4時までにお申し出いただければ幸いです。

尚、4月分の保育料等に関しては、5月分に充当させていただく予定です。

次回の開園日に関しましては、5月の連休明けの5月7日（木）を予定しております。

今後の状況を注視しつつ、万が一変更が発生する場合は再度お知らせいたします。
