6月よりKnock Knockのチームに新しい講師が加わりました!
James先生から自己紹介です。とっても背が高く、大きい先生ですが子ども達は、背の高いJames先生が大好きな様子です☆
以下にJamesより自己紹介文を掲載します!
My name is James Beddow, I am 36 years of age and I originate from Southern England.
Whilst I used to run my own digital marketing company in the UK,
I am very pleased to have become a Knock Knock English instructor.
I find the language education industry to be highly rewarding, as I strive to empower youngsters with the ability to communicate in English. I feel English language ability for the youth of Japan can help them to gain better employment and may also assist them should they choose to travel.
I have two young children of my own, a son of seven and a daughter of four years of age. They are both bilingual having only been exposed fully to the Japanese language for a period of Six months. This is a great achievement and I am very proud. I too hope that you can be proud of your children as they develop their language skill through Knock Knock English lessons with myself and the rest of our team.
I have a long running interest in Japan and I hope to learn more about the culture and language as I intend to remain here long term.
My interest stems from studying Aikido for 10 years in the UK whilst in my teens. I love Japanese food in particular Yakiniku.
My current hobbies are swimming and going to theme parks with my children.
I hope to welcome you and your children soon!

Hello everyone!
I am very excited to be part of the Knock Knock English family, and I am looking forward to the new school year. I cannot wait to meet the students and begin our journey.
My hometown is New York City, but I have also lived in Florida and Nashville. In addition to that, my family is originally from Brazil, so I also speak Portuguese, and I graduated with a minor degree in Spanish. Speaking several languages has been extremely beneficial.
I started teaching English at the age of 15 years old, and I began interpreting and translating when I was 18 years old.
Teaching has always been part of my life! I remember playing “school” with my friends when I was a child, and I always wanted to play the teacher role.
I have recently moved to Tokyo with my husband and daughters, and I am absolutely in love with the city.
It amazes me how organized and immaculate the city is, and the Japanese people have been so welcoming and helpful!
I am in the process of learning the language and customs, and I hope that my language skills will be helpful to children and adults alike.
Thank you,
Giovanna
